Featured image upload uploads file into the wrong year/month folder

    Hello!

    This might be odd, but whenever I set featured image for custom posts (created with CPT UI) the link to that file has year/month folders of the date the post was published and not when image was uploaded.

    I see that Pages and Posts sets the folders of the date when files was uploaded, so this happens only on custom post types.

    Is it possible to disable this behavior somehow?

    Sorry to hear that this is going on.

    I am not sure what’s going on with that, as I can assuredly say we don’t have any setting or feature around that type of behavior. I’m wondering if there’s something from your active theme or perhaps a different plugin influencing this somehow. We actually don’t tap into any part of the post creation process, we just make sure the post types are registered at the correct time.

    Ok, thanks for the info. I’ll look at other plugins/theme for the problem.
