Featured Image won't display when posting to Facebook

I used to have a WordPress.com site using the Apostrophe theme and posting to facebook worked fine, the featured image always displayed. Now i am running the same theme but i had to redo my site through Godaddy in order to use a new domain. It won’t read my featured image at all. Some of the posts that used to display a featured image, now display the images within the blog text. I’ve downloaded Regenerate Thumbnails and other plugins, but i can’t seem to find a solution.
