Featured image wont show up on mainpage! help plz!

  • Hello! i am very new to wordpress &making websites this is my first website.

    My problem is that when i go to pages > home (this is my mainpage/frontpage) and upload an image using featured image, it does not post the image to my website !
    I have checked the box for featured images under screen options. i have changed permissions to 777 in the wp-content and still cannot get the image to show up using featured images.

    the %100 percent guarantee image is actually the ebook image under theme options in apperance.
    I want to add a featured image to go beside where it says make over $1000 a day. but it will not show up anywhere on my website.
    I have been trying to get this problem solved for 2 days on my own(looking google, forums and youtube) but cannot find an answer.
    Can some1 walk me through this i am at my end and since i spent money on this so far i dont want to give up but im feeling like i wasted my money lol.

  • Have you tried using a different theme? Because the theme has to support featured images to be displayed.

    i have not tried a diffrent theme, though i really dont want to because i payed like 60 dollars for the theme, can i add the image into the side with CSS or somthing, i recently learned a little css.

    the theme is for wordpress? and im having trouble with it … the forum is for wordpress, and im paying you for service right now so im gunna call in the morning get my 160 dollars back , thanks for your excellent customer service andrew nevins.

    the theme is webbie , by themeforest. but i have also asked this question to thier website like you asked , thanks andrew.

    I also have the same problem. Whenever I switch to another theme, especially “twentytwelve” theme, the featured image shows. What will I do?

    @cyrilnicko – please start your own support topic. Even if your issue is similar, you most likely are running on a different server environement and have different plugins and themes.
