Featured images do not get multiple sizes

    Hi,

    Images embedded in the body of a post are fully converted into PICTURE+SOURCE+IMG elements, with many size versions of the picture in the srcset attribute.

    Featured images, however, are also converted into PICTURE elements, but the SOURCE’s srcset attribute contains one single image URL, with no size variations. The IMG element does not even get a srcset attribute.

    Is this behaving as expected?

    Different size variations are valuable, performance-wise, so it would be great if featured images behave just as any other image.

    Please ignore this ticket. It seems the theme I’m using was inserting the featured image in an extremely simple fashion, without the size variations.
