• Originally, any featured image would be cropped to the same proportions for the widget areas of our theme, but since the move to Offload S3 this has stopped. Images are now shown with their original proportions (as an example, we’ll have a row of 4 images, but the one hosted on S3 is much taller than the other 3).

    We are using the Weta theme by Elma Studio. I’ve contacted their support as well since I am not sure which side is causing the problem.

    Apologies as the page is currently in maintainance mode awaiting website launch and I’m unable to share the URL.

    Is there some setting that might be causing this?

    There’s nothing in WP Offload S3 that relates directly to featured image dimensions.

    Do you by chance have “Remove Files From Server” turned on?

    If so, it might be that the theme isn’t picking up on the dimensions held in the postmeta record and is otherwise trying to get the dimensions from a missing file.

    I would look at your debug log to see whether the cropping is failing.
