Featured images not displaying on pages

  • Pages on my Astra 4.6.2 WordPress sites have stopped displaying featured images in Chrome, Firefox and Safari browsers. Featured images for posts are displaying just fine.

    UPDATE: With help from a support article on the Astra theme website, I used the customize feature to get to the Page Title Area settings on the five sites where I’m using Astra. I found the featured image display setting disabled on all of them. Now that I’ve changed the settings, the featured images are once again displaying. I did not change these settings myself and can’t help wondering if the issue is related to the most recent update. Any idea how these settings were changed on all my Astra sites?

  • I’ve got the same problem with Astra Version 4.6.16: featured image just visibile in posts, but not in pages any more after updating.

    The featured images are still in the setting options of each page, the checkbox below for “Show post image only in the post list, but hide it in the single view.” is unchecked.

    This feature worked in the previous versions of Astra also for pages. Any idea, what to do? Will this be fixed again next time that you can set featured images for post and pages? Thanks ??

    Please go to the Customizer > Page > Single Page > Page Title Area and check if the Featured Image is enabled/disabled from there. Refer to this screenshot, please.
