• On my homepage, the featured images are not the same size. For example, my most recent post is half the size ( a rectangular-shape) than all my other past posts (which are square-shaped). I would like for all my photos/featured images on my homepage to be square. How can I fix this? Thank you in advanced!

Basically, I always tell clients that if you want square images, upload them that way.

Your theme specifies how to size and crop the derived image used as the thumbnail on your home page. You can change this by child theming, then regenerating your site’s thumbnails.

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/kale#new-post so the theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.

I have every photo uploaded with square pixels, so they are all square images when uploaded. I will try asking there.

Before uploading them, try making them all the same dimensions beforehand. Edit them in MS-Paint or other photo editing software.

While you’re at it… Optimize them too using tinypng.

Thanks for your help. It is still an issue that needs to be fixed though, since they are all uploaded with the same exact square pixels…

I don’t think the editing is the problem, it has to be some customizable tab in the WordPress template. I have tried looking, but can’t find anything. Maybe it has to do with coding?
