Featured images resulting in very high LCP

    I have the LCP issue: longer than 4s (mobile) in Google Search Console. I use WP Rocket to help speed up the site and ShortPixel for image optimization but was still unable to bring LCP on mobile lower than 12-14s.

    I finally figured out that disabling featured images drops LCP on mobile by approximately 10s per page. This issue is not occurring with desktop LCP. I have the featured images disabled right now. Please let me know how I can keep the featured images visible on posts without raising LCP. My featured images don’t seem to be serving in WebP format for some reason. Thank you for your help.
