Featured images when using "show featured posts in blog feed"

    Having a small problem with featured images and the “show featured posts in blog feed” option in fourteen extended. The option works great, the only problem I’m having is that the “featured image” appears about the post in the blog roll, and at a very large size. I only want the featured image to be used in the top grid. If anyone knows of a setting or something I’m missing it would be greatly appreciated!

    Could you provide a link to the site so that we can see what you mean and be able to assist you further.

    The featured posts in the blog feed should appear the same as the standard posts – if they are not then we have a bug somewhere that needs addressing.

    OK got it.

    The thumbnail (Featured Image) is output by the the theme so any post that has a featured image allocated to it will have it displayed in the blog feed.

    Size wise you can currently control the width of the content area which includes the width of thumbnail via the plugin. Height control is coming in the next version.

    I can add an option to hide the thumbnail in blog feed if its required – this will be done as soon as possible subject to demand and correct functionality.

    Alternatively you can opt to not include the featured (default) posts in the blog feed. You’d then only add the featured image to those posts which are featured only.

    Hope that makes sense and helps you resolve the issue but if there’s something I’ve missed or misunderstood then please let me know and I’ll try and assist as much as I can.

    Thanks so much for the quick responses! I think that would be a useful feature to add, as for now I’ll try to find another workaround to get it the way that I’d like! Thanks again for the help!
