I am not sure I made myself clear. I, now assume, the 1 click is to turn the star on and off.

I just want the (double line) Featured Post (double line) verbiage invisible.

Can that be taken out or can I color the text the same as my background?

@gsbohn, unfortunately this has nothing to do with the plugin. Your theme that you have chosen decided that “sticky” posts get the double line featured HTML. if you switch to the default wordpress theme you will notice that the same thing does not happen, instead it just moves those posts to the top of the list. The purpose of sticky originates from Forums, with the need to keep certain posts “on top” as they were more important. Many plugins and themes use the “sticky” attribute for a variety of other reasons. Please keep this in mind.

Thank you for your reply. I am using twentytwelve as my theme. Just to let you know that the double line feature added to the top of the first post does disappear when I turn your star off. And it’s back when I turn it on.

As you say though, that may be a function of the theme, but your plugin seems to bring it out. Since I do not want that above a slideshow gallery, as it takes head room, I will look around for others.

It’s a great plugin that you have and does exactly what I wanted – but just does a little more than I wanted.

    Thanks anyway.

I have corrected the situation so that I can continue to use your plugin.

I put a copy of “content.php” in my child theme and removed lines 15 and 16 where it references the “Featured Post” (remove div statement).

I’m glad to find that I can keep you plugin.

You lead me in the right direction.

Awesome, glad you dug into the code and got it the way you wanted it. Best wishes.
