Featured Post/Page Selection Box Missing

  • I used to have a box in the Post settings called Featured Post/Page that asked if I wanted to feature my post in the Featured Slider at the top of my blog. Under where you can select yes or no it says Select “yes” above to display this post/page in the featured slider.

    This box was located right below the box where you can add a featured image. You can see an example of it in the upper right-hand corner of the photo below.

    This is the only way that I know of to add a post to this slider. Please help me get it back. I am using Amiable theme.

    • is the slider a part of the Amiable theme? (looks like this theme was purchased from a 3rd party source – not available on www.ads-software.com)
    • is the slider from a plugin separate from the theme – if yes, which plugin?
    • is there a setting in “screen options” area of post edit space that might be related to the control that you are looking for?

    Yes, I believe the slider is part of the Amiable theme.

    No, I don’t believe that it’s a plugin.

    No, there is not a setting in “screen options” related to it’s control.

    if the slider is part of the ?Amiable theme: request guidance from the team’s support team most familiar with the theme’s operation. (volunteers on this forum do not have access to theme’s purchased from 3rd parties)
