Featured Post slider gone in Safari

I use the Hueman theme and have had a featured post slider on my site from the beginning and it has been operating perfectly in mobile version from the start. However, as of yesterday, the slider was gone in Safari. The featured posts and images are gone completely and even the header image was missing for a while. To make matters more interesting, the slider is there in Chrome, but the site hasn’t updated. The full version of my site displays fine in desktop mode, but when viewing the mobile version in Chrome, the newest posts are not updated in the slider. This is very odd to me, as this had never been an issue until yesterday and now it looks different depending on the browser. I didn’t change anything with codes, didn’t make alterations to the site at all. Any thoughts?
