Featured Post works for grid but not slider

Hi. I had set only one featured post to be a slider, and this has worked beautifully until yesterday. Now the featured post won’t show as a slider, but will only show as grid. HOW DO I GET THE SLIDER TO WORK FOR THIS ONE POST? I redid the tags on the post but still only grid works. I also revised the image size on the post to be as recommended (at least 1038 wide pixels). My new size is at 1118 wide by 542 high pixels. Thank you for your help.
