Featured posts no longer show

Since updating to WordPress 4.1, still using the Twenty Fourteen theme, the posts I’ve tagged as “featured” no longer display in the chronological flow of posts as they used to. They still appear in the grid of featured posts, but no longer in the flow. I’ve verified this by adding or removing the featured tag and watching the behavior.

I actually use a child theme of Twenty Fourteen, but I din’t think that is affecting this issue. My site is wichitaliberty.org.
