Thanks so much for your really valuable feedback. I’ve shared the details about this feature request with our product planning team so they will review it when planning new features and plugins. I can’t say when (or if) this will make it onto our development roadmap, so I’d recommend keeping an eye on the changelog?and our email newsletter?for regular development updates.

In the meantime, I’d love to hear some more details about how your site and customers would use this feature and why it’s important for your business if you wouldn’t mind sharing some more information?

Featured products in Woocommerce is a standard feature, yet very few filter or sorting plugins allow users to filter by featured products. It is crazy that Woocommerce builds this feature yet no one supports it properly.

If it was available as a paid plugin then we would pay the price for it. I’m sure other would too.

I completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately this feature was removed when WooCommerce 3.0 was released because the way products are designated as “featured” has changed in WooCommerce 3.0+. Because of the way this is stored changed behind the scenes, it’s no longer possible to sort products using this value to show featured items first. As such, this means that our plugin cannot offer this option for stores running WooCommerce 3.0+ since the data used to sort this way no longer exists.
