Featured Slider

  • Is the Featured Slider a slideshow gallery or something else?

    How do I actually set up which images will appear in the featured slider? Do I select the images from the Media Library?

    How do I limit the display of the Featured Slider to ONLY the front page?

    Usually in the featured slider appears featured images of your posts, in the theme Bard you can manage how much posts you want to be shown in you featured slider and which categories they should be and etc. To limit the display of the featured images, navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Featured Slider And in the section “Number of Slides” chose your prefered number of slides.

    I also have a question about the slider on Bard.

    I have it all set up. My homepage is set as the blog page, however, I only want the slider on the home page, not the blog feed page (which also has a menu tab).

    I attempted to do this by creating a different categories to link the slider to, however, it’s still showing up under my blog feed page. Any tips?

    Unfortunately, in the free version of the theme, it’s not possible it is a Pro feature. Featured Slider by default appears on the blog feed page and displays the Featured Images of your Blog Posts.
