Featured Video

  • hi , featured video doesn’t show in my page on the other hand I can embed video and it worked for me but the featured video didn’t.

    Hi,

    I assume you are trying to display the video instead of the featured image, correct? If this is true, please note that in order for the video to be displayed in place of the featured image, you must first set a featured image for your post otherwise there’s nothing to replace.
    Also, this could be caused by incompatibility with your theme. We found themes that did not displayed the featured image using WP’s functions but all kinds of custom methods. In this case there’s not much we can do about this. By the way, can you please tell me which theme you are using on your website (name, URL)?

    Hi,

    Most likely is the same issue. If the theme uses a different mechanism to display the featured image (which doesn’t implement WordPress’s filters) this feature can’t work.
