On the Period Pro pages, there is a Featured Video option. I’ve set it on a page using a link to a YouTube video on my channel. I would like the display of the video to be smaller on that page. Is there a CSS code that will change the size of the video display just for that featured video?

Also, the Featured Video option places the video above the page title, any source code, and/or text I’ve entered into the page itself. Is there a way to move the featured video to another location on the page, or does it have to be at the top?

    Thank You,

    David Armstrong

    Hey David,

Could you share a link to the page with the Featured Video you want to be smaller? I can use the page’s ID to generate some CSS to target only the video on that page.

The Featured Video can be moved down the page by editing a template file in a child theme. However, this will have to move all the Feature Videos and Featured Images as well. As an alternative, you could embed the video inside the post editor instead without using the Featured Video section. This will give you control over where it displays and Period will still embed it responsively.

    Ben,

Thank you. This is on the Home page for my site. The URL is: https://throughjesus.org/ If embedding the video, rather than using the feature video does what I want to do, that will work, too. I just didn’t like having the video above the “Home” title.

    Ben,

After I replied, I tried using the video embed element of Visual Editor to do what I wanted with that video. That worked very well. I’ll use that rather than the Featured Video function of the theme. Thank you for your suggestion. Please don’t spend more time in this. You’re busy, and I have hat I want.

    Thank you again,
