featured_product_slider not working with WooCommerce version 3.0.4

    Using WooCommerce 3.0.4, I want to use the option [featured_products_slider slide_to_show=”4″ slide_to_scroll=”1″] but it just shows 2 seemingly random products, not those which are featured.

    As a test if I use [featured_products per_page=”4″ columns=”4″] I get the correct featured products shown, so there is nothing wrong with my site.

    This feature is working OK with WooCommerce 2.6.14

    I am using the latest Mystile Theme and everything else appears to be working fine. I applied a fix for the single product thumbnail issue caused in Mystile by WooCommerce 3 as given here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/css-to-fix-a-woocommerce-image-display-proble/#post-9004524 (down near the end).

    Is a fix required for the [featured_products_slider] with WooCommerce 3?

  • I have just spent the whole weekend upgrading to WooCommerce 3.0.4 and then, going right back to the old version about 30 minutes ago. This “update” did the following:
    1. It made the use of the USPS plugin, effect opening any post, page, or product on the wordpress platform by simply not letting you edit anything without getting a error message
    2. Made all my products listed as “on sale” with the same price as the normal pricing.
    3. Disabled my paid WooCommerce Pro product carousel.
    4. WORST OF ALL took my page load time up to 29 seconds!!!!!!
    5. smashed 25% of my product images, sometimes…..

    Guess how many customers you get when wordpress takes 29 seconds to load?????
    You get ZERO.

    This upgrade is not ready.

    Plugin updated to v-1.1.3 and now working fine with WooCommerce version 3.0.4

    [featured_products_slider slide_to_show=”4″ slide_to_scroll=”1″] is now working as expected with WooCommerce 3.0.4, very quick response, impressed with your service.
