• This is a very powerful plugin, but it is not well documented, and while the support from the developer is timely, it is somewhat terse, and directed towards folks who can code their fixes, not end users who only know how to “configure.”
If you can use this plugin out of the box, you will love it. I got this system up and running in no time, and it works great for basic ticket sales.

If you are a php coder looking for a system you can customize easily, you will also love this product, I think you can do just about anything with it if you are a programmer.

However, if you are a power user used to “configuring” extra functionality or tweaking features using a powerful admin interface, then you will be disappointed and frustrated with this plugin.

For example, do you want to collect some information about your ticket buyer aside from just a name and email? Maybe ask them their nickname? Every other ticket plug-in has an easy to use admin page where you simply insert a field using a wysiwyg editor, or are presented with an array of pre-defined fields (first name, last name, full name, address, city, state, phone, email, etc, etc) with show/hide/required boxes alongside them.

Well with this plugin, you can’t add any extra fields without having to hand edit php files.

This makes lots of sense if you are a coder at heart (after all, why try to guess at all the possible fields a user might want, right?) But as an end user, you are not going to be very happy having to touch php files just to add a ticket buyer’s zip code. There is a happy medium here, and this plugin has not found it yet.

The documentation appears ok at first look, but if you have a question, you will quickly find it is incomplete. It was clearly written by the developer without any input from an end-user, which will keep those middle users who need to do more than out of the box ticketing from embracing this product.

Still – while I may not even end up using this plugin, as I do not want to have to customize and maintain php files for the sites I manage, I will still give it 5 stars, because I think it is powerfully extensible, in the right hands. Just beware, this is not a plugin for everyone.

The documentation is definitely incomplete. You are *absolutely* welcome to provide input to help improve the documentation – I’m open to suggestions.
