    Hello nMedia,

The latest update to the plugin has some issues.

    1. The Admin user is unable to add files, as the File descriptions box is missing and so wont allow admin to upload a file.

    2. The File actions drop down in the Admin area is now missing – you used to be able to select multiple files and then choose to delete them. Now you have to do these one at a time.

    3. Files that are deleted in the WordPress admin – are not deleted from the AWS, something that is advertised as being fixed with this version?

    Hi @livetechg,

Let me see this issue but make sure you have all latest PRO version and Free version installed.

    Hi nMedia,

We have the latest installed from your website.

These are the version numbers we have installed.

    WP File Manager PRO 15.1
WP File Mangaer Addon: Amazon S3 Upload 14.9

Please help us get this sorted – it is critical for our client.

In addition to the above – there are also times when the file upload does not happen at all.
In the admin area, the file says ‘local’, it should say ‘amazon’. The file does not exist either on the local server or in AWS.

The error we get in WordPress debug log is:

[16-Oct-2020 09:18:50 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: location in public_html/wp-content/plugins/nmedia-user-file-uploader/inc/hooks.php on line 197

also update to our File Manager version 16.1.1

    Hi nMedia,

Many thanks for getting back to us quickly.

We updated the File Manager to version 16.1.1

We can confirm the following is now fixed.

Fixed – Admin user can now upload files
Fixed – Multi file select for action eg Delete

Not fixed – Deleted files being removed from AWS – we have watched your video and we are doing exactly as you do – but the files are not removed from AWS.

New issue with this latest update.

    1. Files uploaded by the admin user are stored locally – they are not saved to Amazon AWS. They are only saved to Amazon if uploaded on the front end as a user.
This is a critical one for our client as they must have their uploaded files stored securely on AWS.

We would welcome your continued support to get these issues resolved.

    Kind regards
