    Tobias, thanks for all of your help so far.

    Is it better to use the Ajax auto-refresh or the table update? Is there a use case for each?

    With regard to poorpigs.de and the tables you are using, is the table here built with TablePress? I am looking to use row/detail expansion as well.

    If I continue from that table and click on one of the years I see the detail of stats in another table as in here. If this is also implemented with TablePress, did you do it via data or formulas?

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    The AJAX auto-refresh and Automatic Table Update are totally different Extensions, with different use cases.
    The first one can be used to do something like a live ticker with a table, where changes will be sent to the visitor quite fast (without them having to reload the page). The latter Extension can be used to update the table data from an external source file in a periodic fashion.

    Yes, that table on poorpigs.de does use TablePress. For the row details expansion, please see https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-expand-tablepress-row?replies=24#post-4187213

    The tables that are linked to (with all the stats) are not TablePress however, those are static HTML files generated by an external application that our league uses.

    Thanks for the response and sorry for my delay in responding!

    I have been working with the plugin and several extensions. So far everything is going very well. Neither the details or row grouping will solve my problem completely, so customization is in order. No big deal, that’s the wonderful part of OS.
