Fed Up With This Plugin

  • I’ve actually used the plugin for a while, on two different sites.

    On my first site, it performs “okay” (at best). On my newer site, all I’ve seen is an endless stream of false positives for supposedly broken links. Out of dozens that I’ve had to take the time to check, I think one was actually broken. All the rest worked as they should.

    There seems to be no rhyme or reason to this. I’ve kept using the plugin because it’s essentially the only game in town, but no more. It’s driving me nuts (admittedly, a short drive).

    Time to find something that actually works consistently.

    Sorry to hear you are having this problem.

    The plugin uses the server IP to ping the links, sometimes the IP is blocked on the link destination causing the false positive.

    However, I can’t see any topic opened from your profile about this on the support forums.

    Could you please create a new topic and we can take a closer look at this for you and hope to convert the review on 5-stars rating?
