  • Hi,

Currently, our FedEx plugin cannot be configured under the Shipping Zone.

However, our FedEx plugin can be configured independently. Also, you have the option to restrict the countries by using the method availability option in the settings.

    Hi there,
Do you have plans to enable your FedEx plugin to be configured under Shipping Zones? I’m trying to determine if this is something that can be done with your plugin or not, and if so what is the expected time frame for an update?
    Thanks!

    Hi HighRoller,

If we activate our plugin to configure under shipping zones, then user have to manage the configuration for each zone. There is no master settings. Many of our clients doesn’t like to go to each zone and enter details every time.

We are in communication with woocommerce guys regarding this. So, for the time being we are not activating it under Shipping Zone.

But, our plugin have the option to restrict the countries by using the method availability option in the settings.

Hi: I have a related question… In 2.6, since it is not zone-integrated, Fedex falls to lowest priority beneath Local Pickup. Can you point me in the right direction for a work-around that will re-order the shipping options presented… or perhaps default the radio-button to Fedex? The wide majority of our shipping is Fedex.

    Thanks.

    Hi Tom,

I have a code snippet for you. You can use this code to rearrange shipping methods.

    Much appreciated…. That works…

Hi, I have a similar question, hopefully there is an easy fix. I have your plugin setup and enabled in the backend of the site however, I do not see the available shipping methods on the cart or checkout. I get “There are no shipping methods available. Please double check your address, or contact us if you need any help.” message. Shipping methods I have enabled in the backend are: FEDEX_2_DAY, FEDEX_EXPRESS_SAVER, GROUND_HOME_DELIVERY, FEDEX_GROUND, INTERNATIONAL_ECONOMY, INTERNATIONAL_PRIORITY, INTERNATIONAL_GROUND

any idea how to get these to show up on the front end?

    Hi Gmack,

You can figure out the exact problem by turning on the debug mode in plugin settings page. Once you do that, you will need to place an order at the cart page. You will be able to see the API request and response information.

Also, to check the available services within your geography, kindly go to FedEx price calculator. Here’s the link to it – https://www.fedex.com/ratefinder/home
