Feed Encoding error

    Hi,
    I created a Facebook Dynamic Ads / Instagram Remarketing feed with regular parameters.
    For some weird reason every time that I include in the feed my descriptions, It’s breaking the feed with the following error:

    This page contains the following errors:
    error on line 975 at column 2876: Encoding error
    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

    When I remove the description field it’s fixed. Please help me fix this issue because Facebook requires descriptions to load the ad.

    ** The same happens when I try to include descriptions for Google Shopping feed.

    I attached the XML file with the error to this topic.

    I didn’t have anything different with this product description.. This is a bug with your plugin.

    It is a bit hard to replicate what you experience. How does your field mapping look like for the g:description field?

    I am facing similar issue with greek language.

    I have the same problem in hungarian language. I refreshed the plugin. I deleted the plugin and installed again. It doesn’t work.

    Changed the mapping to the short description and it solved the problem.

    @spektorniv Not sure this is a solution, as not everybody uses the short description. But it’s a workaround for sure. Thanks for posting this.

    Thanks for trying to help, but it doesn’t help me… My descriptions are not under the “short description” so it won’t solve any issue because I need the feed to include the descriptions..

    Can you try reverting back to this version of the plugin? Another user reported that that worked for them.

    The only change made after the above version is to truncate descriptions when they are over 5000 characters long we don’t understand why that could be causing this issue but it is worth trying if this solves it for you.

    Could this be because of quotes in the text not closing correctly because of the truncation? Just an idea..

    Did you try the latest version of our plugin released yesterday? We reverted some changes hoping this would solve it for you.

    Updated to 8.7.3, while having WOO 4.2.2 and WP 5.4.2.
    Restarted again the problematic feed but it seems the problem still persists.

    UPDATE: Seems that it’s fixed. I disabled, enabled again the specific feed and now works. Thanks
