feed eror after upgrading

    Hi, I just upgraded to wp 2.7 and everything seems fine except the feed. When I click on my feedburner feed icon it shows me this error message.

    Warning: Unterminated comment starting line 1137 in /home/symbians/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1137

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function require_wp_db() in /home/symbians/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 242

    If anyone knows how can I fix it pls help.

  • I would download a fresh copy of WP 2.7, then delete functions.php from your wp-includes directory and upload a brand new copy from your fresh download. It sounds like that file got corrupted or screwed up somehow.

    umm thnx for the tip but the latest news i got is feedburner is not working atm with wp 2.7. So, I will wait for some time and hope feedburner will fix it soon. Many people are facing this same problem. That tells me functions.php is not corrupted or screwed up.

    Anyway, thnx evilbeet for your reply I really appreciate it.

    The info I got earlier was wrong, Its not a feedburner problem at all its a problem with my own feed. Sorry evilbeet for not understanding your point earlier. I will give your tip a shot. Wish me luck!

    I did what you told me to do but the problem remains. Please help someone!

    Why wordpress don’t number their code lines so that we can go straight to the line where error logs ask us to go?

    How do I determine which line is 1137 in function.php?
    I am totally screwed up!
