Feed from a group?.

    Hello,

    I have a personal page and a group. It is the GROUP feed that I would like to appear on my facebook page. I’ve followed all the directions but the plugin doesn’t seem to appear/ work at all?

    1. Does this app allow group feeds?

    2. Could this be as I am running it on a local server (wampserver) as I am developing the site? Every other plugin (not FB ones) I have tried works fine.

    and FYI the errors are:

    FAIL API Key and Secret Key Present
    FAIL Connected To Facebook Graph API
    FAIL Loaded Your Profile
    FAIL Loaded Test Profile
    FAIL PRO Features Unlocked

    But I do have the App ID and secret key data set in the plugin.

    Hello!

    As long as the Group is Public, you should be fine.

    Can you verify that you have the App ID and Secret Key in the correct fields? You shouldn’t be seeing the first error, if they are.

    If you had invalid App ID and Secret Keys, you would pass the first test but fail the second test.

    I did have them. But what I did then was use a page somewhere to get the unique identifier (a number) rather than just type in the page URL and now it works fine.

    I don’t suppose there’s a way to get images to show in the free version?

    OK! So, it sounds like the Page ID was the issue, and you’ve got that part resolved?

    Depending on which images you are talking about, yes! Avatars show in the Pro version (people’s headshots), but images that are Posted in the Feed will show in the Free version.

    Yeah the page ID is sorted, I have the feed working BUT there are np pictures shown in the feed (free version)

    Hey Landyvlad!

    There was an issue that was blocking images from loading, due to an updated response in the Graph API.

    This has since been fixed on our end, so I am marking this topic as resolved.
