Feed No longer appearing

Hi,
Instagram suddenly shut down several routes in its API without even warning developers. User no longer can get media of other users. This also breaks feeds on frontend and admin area. We will provide a hotfix within few hours.
We are very sorry for any problem caused by these unforeseen changes.

We already released the new version (1.2.18) that resolves issues caused by API change.

Hi Tigran, i noticed you saying that you fixed the issue, but i have updated to the latest version and it still isn’t working, i am on the free version and it tells me the endpoint is retired.

All my feeds have stopped working, I have installed another Instagram Plugin and the feeds show on there but i prefer your plugin.

Please can you help

If so, the message there says you are allowed to display only your media. It means you have to sign in and get token with the same instagram account you want to display in the feed. Please sign in again.

I am using the free version, i hwve signed in with that user account and thats the feed i am trying to view.

Thats an error in free version not me as i cant view anything

i went on to have a look at it seems to be showing the correct username now and this has fixed it, i was calling an incorrect instagram feed.

I see in your link its working but I have updated it and Im receiving this message on all feeds:

“Cannot get other user media. API shut down by Instagram. Sorry. Display only your media.”

the message there says you are allowed to display only your media. It means you have to sign in and get token with the same instagram account you want to display in the feed. Please sign in again.

But still no luck. Here are the steps taken:

1) I’ve updated the plugin.
2) Revoked access to the api through IG.
3) Logged in and authorized the app through WP.
4) It generated the key fine.

It looks to be logged in, and the api is installed with the key. Still displaying the same message of: “Cannot get other user media. API shut down by Instagram. Sorry. Display only your media.”

And when I click ‘View My Feed’ it displays:
“This is a private page. To make it public, edit it and change the visibility.” and my page is not private.

do you have a link to the page with the feed?

please make sure instagram username in the feed is the same username you got token with, to avoid that message.

yes, we plan a feature that will allow you to display multiple feeds of different users, each signed in separately. However, this will require that you have access to that instagram accounts.
In other words, you won’t be able to display Kardashian’s photos on your site if you are not Kim, or Kourtney. ??
But if you have several accounts, you will be able to publish them.

After the last update it is not working as before.
Not loading more than 20 items. In settings , if i choose more than 20, it won’t load the feed at all.
With “20”, it will load it but “more” button does not work.
When i try to create 2nd feed (or any new one) with the same credentials and correct token. I get error message – u cant show others’ user instagram.
And preview of the feed is not working. 404 error.
It was working so well just a week ago, will it be fixed, or there are some new restrictions?
