Hi. We have a feed that has been working fine until the last couple of weeks where it has now stopped and is not pulling in new data.

If I look at the feed, the feed preview is displaying correctly but if I look at the items in the feed the latest ones are not there.

Also, where it says Updates, they are displaying the next update is in 3 weeks and was last updated 3 weeks ago even when the update interval is set to once hourly.

Any ideas how we can fix this?

    Hi, any update on this?

Hi @andygalliers thanks for getting back to me and for the screenshot. Looking at the errors, it appears that you have an issue with your CRON setup on the site. All the WP RSS Aggregator cron jobs are correctly added but they are not getting fired. Noticeably, this is also affecting cron jobs from other plugins. To fix this, I’d recommend sharing the same with your host provider for assistance on fixing this. Let me know how it goes.

    Hi, below is what the hosting provider has asked;

Can you share more information about how the exact command for the mentioned job for the WP RSS Aggregator should look like?

    Cheers
    Andy

Hi folks, we’ve received an update from our developers on this matter. The recommendation is to try out the following potential solution:

    1. Edit the feed source and check its “Update interval” (found in the “Feed Processing” section, which is typically on the right-hand side of the page).
    2. If the “Update Interval” is set to “Default”, then the feed is using the same interval as the other feeds. If this is the case, it would be great if we could take a look at your site’s WP RSS Aggregator error log since the feed may not be importing items due to an error. It’s best to send that over to us via email or through our contact form on our website.
    3. If the “Update interval” is not set to “Default”, try changing the value to something else. It’s possible that the schedule that the feed was using no longer exists. This tends to happen when the schedule that was being used was added by another plugin that has since been removed from the website.

    Dear Mark,

Isabelle here, working with Andy on this issue.
I just checked and can confirm that the Update interval is set to default.
So I downloaded the error log as suggested, there are 484 debug and 16 info.
As I’m not sure what email address nor found the form you mentioned I send you a wetranfer link with the document: https://we.tl/t-59Z5MvmjaM

    Does this work for you?

    Best regards
    Isabelle

Hi @isabelle thanks for getting in touch, looking at the logs, it appears that the plugin has not attempted to fetch since October, looking at the screenshot shared here this confirm the fact that the cron jobs have not been firing as well. With the Cron issues on the site, would be open to setting server Cron jobs as described on this article?

Hi, we have added the cronjob to the server, please see below. Please can you confirm this is correct?

Hey andygalliers & Isabelle, the screenshot shared looks okay, thanks for getting back to us and for sharing, would you mind confirming if the import tasks are running as expected now?
