I was trying to pull together feeds from several SEO sites and got the same error… maybe they’re all blocking the scraping done by SP?

    That is possible.

The feeds are coming through using WP RSS Multi-Importer:

    Odd.
A big drawback of WP RSS Multi-Importer is there’s no filter capability!
I’m listening to this thread.. hope we find out what’s happening.

    Meanwhile, I’m published for now…

    Hi jobburr,

I just delivered the ability to change the download client user agent string in the latest v1.0.31 version. Perhaps this might help in case a feed publisher is blocking certain user agents???

    Hi jonburr,
a new version of Syndicate Press was just released today which includes support for SSL encrypted feeds and feed URL redirection. It is possible that the feed pubisher is doing an http 301 or 302 redirect. The new version of Syndicate Press (1.0.32) now support http redirects.

    Best regards,
