Feed not updating in 2.0.2

    I had previously installed 2.0.1 but had not yet started real postings. I had got everything working and had been experimenting with styles etc. when 2.0.2 was released. I upgraded to 2.0.2 but encountered problems so I deleted everything and dropped all tables from my db and then installed 2.0.2 from scratch.

    I can successfully post and a new post can be read in the normal way. However, the feed is not updating at all – it is still showing the original ‘Hello World’ post only. I have already deleted this particular post.

    There were some issues with feeds when 2.0 was released. Could there be a problem with 2.0.2?

    If I am the only one with this issue, where would you suggest I start to resolve it?

  • Do you have an url we could see?

    Also, be sure you force your browser to reload the page to avoid using the browser’s cache (F5 or ctrl-F5).

    Thanks, it does seem to have been a browser caching issue.

    If any of the development team are reading this, I think it might be a good idea to put some advice about clearing the browser cache when upgrading, as it seems to create phantom problems that aren’t really installation/upgrade issues.
