Feed order

  • OK so I have another question. This seems kind of involved so maybe instead of a tweak, a possible idea for a future version? I use the shortcode and the newest articles appear up top. There is an option to change that to newest on bottom. What if there was a way to change the feed to be placed in order of most popular? For instance, place a thumbs up, or something like a reddit system. The more people click it, the higher the rating and it stays at the top of the feed.

    Now to add to the complexity, what about adding a tab for the user. At the top of the feed they, themselves, can choose to view the feed with the newest articles or click on ‘Popular’ to see the highest rating??

    How easy/complex would that be? ??

    This would be very complex as it would involve a complete rewrite of the entire plugin.
