Hi. Thanks for your reply. I’m using it as a wordpress custom widget, I can’t see any way of viewing what shortcode it generates.

@matsp in that case, please provide the feed URL and a screenshot of the configuration of the widget.

Hi, my thanks for your reply. It would seem it is only the feed from The Independent that always has this issue.

I’ve just checked the url and it doesn’t validate, maybe just a case of having to remove it from the widget unfortunately?

@matsp thanks! We will fix this at our end in the next release. In the meantime, you can add this code to your theme’s functions.php file and those characters will be fixed
