• Hello,

I use the wordpress Members plugin to manage capabilities for specific user roles. For some reason, when this Members plugin is active, the Post Update Add-on settings page returns blank when Admin tries to access. Admin has all capabilities granted. Is there a special capability required by the plugin? What capabilities are required? All other Gravity Forms Add-ons/feeds work properly, just this one does not.

Hi @scottalanmyers , the plugin doesn’t use any special capabilities or APIs but that of Gravity Forms. I installed Members plugin but wasn’t able to replicate the issue (all plugin pages still work for me).
Which page is blank? Is it list of feeds or feed settings page? Could you please enable WP_DEBUG and see if there is any error message or check your error logs. As I can’t replicate your issue, debugging it on your side is the only choice.

    Have a nice day.

When I click “Post Update” it takes me to a blank admin page. The table with feeds is missing, but admin menu and toolbar are present. Ditto with feed settings, if I enable the Members plugin and refresh the page. I get no errors with debug enabled.

I’m pretty sure it has to do with capabilities, not the code of the Members plugin, even though I have enabled all listed capabilities for the Admin role. I have been using this plugin for years on this particular sight, so my guess is that there is something wrong/old in the database that is not giving admin permission to view the feeds/settings.

I don’t think it’s your responsibility to fix it, but thanks for the help anyway. For now I’ll just deactivate members when I create a feed, and reactivate when I’m done. I tested this and the feed will still processes as it should upon form submission.
