    Hi,

Around 19th Jan, Google stopped accepting the feed. There are now 0 products in Merchant Center

Error I am getting is: “The product data you submitted in your feed does not meet the product data specification, so your products were not approved. Fix and update your feed to display products to customers. To see all issues, go to Diagnostics.”

When I go to Diagnostics, it is empty. No issues for Products, Feed or Account.

    Feed file is there:

I did check options in Merchant Center and all seem to be fine.

I did not do any changes in Google Merchant Center or Feed settings. I did so work around improving site performance, but I do not think it was affecting feed.

Any ideas what could happen? Plugin version 12.1.8, WP 5.1.1, Woo 7.3.0

One more note — I just noticed I am not able to go into feed->field mapping settings as site runs out of memory (php fatal error). Site is set with 512M of memory

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues in your Google Merchant Center.

We have just uploaded your feed into our test Google Merchant Center and Google accepted it without any errors or notifications. Are you sure you connected the feed the correct way in your Merchant Center?

With regards to your field mapping question, try enabling this general plugin setting: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wgccawf1a76uc0a/AttributesBasic.png?dl=0

    Hope this helps?

    Thank you, all fixed.

Changing the option mentioned fixed memory problem.

As for the feed, problem was actually on my side. Some time ago, my site used different directory structure (“content” instead of “wp-content”). I fixed this over a year ago and set re-direct from old URL structure to a new one, so everything was working. Something happened to re-direct about a week ago and this broke feed. Not sure why Google just would not tell me it is unable to load the feed and would complain about feed structure instead.

Perfect, thanks for the heads-up and good to hear the issue at hand is resolved.
