Feed technicalities

  • Dear Sirs:

    My options are set to feed portions of my last five posts, and as far as that goes everything seems okay. However, when going to Bloglines for example, all of my posts going all the way back to when I started the blog appear, even a few that were posted primarily to test blog functioning and deleted long ago. Not only that, but while the last ten entries or so do only contain the teaser, all those previous to that contain the entire post (that portion beyond the teaser in a different color), which I do not want revealed on other feed readers. In asking this of Bloglines first, I did not receive any reply. Am I setting things up wrong on my end and are there any adjustments I can make to stop this from happening?

    On a quick, unrelated note, I do need to post a sticky entry soon for a contest, and I have the latest WordPress version installed. I have seen posts about the download site for the most popular adhesive plug-in being currently down. Are there any other good or better options to consider at this time? As always, thank you very much.

  • Re adhesive: plug the word “adhesive” (without the surrounding double quotes) into the search box top of forum index, follow links – there are several pertaining to where else you can grab the plugin.

    Your other problem I can’t help with – no clue, sorry.
