    Hello,

    I have recently installed feed them for facebook on my website https://www.bamgarage.com and am really happy with it so far. The feed is at the bottom of the home page. I posted a new post on facebook last night and noticed it has not appeared on bamgarage.com yet?

    The facebook link is https://www.facebook.com/BAM-Garage-439808473041868/ and the news article that hasnt appeared starts with “RECENTLY COMPLETED – 200 SERIES GVM UPGRADE”

    Is this normal? Does it take a few days to download any new feeds?

    Update – it appeared just tonight around 24 hours later. Maybe the 24 hour delay is normal?

    Thanks for contacting us. The feeds are set by default to empty the cache around every 24 hrs. If you want to see the feed updated right away you can empty the cache on our plugin. To change the cache time please visit the Settings page then global option tab.

    Hello,

    I thought I was having the same problem, but I followed your instructions to change refresh time (even trying the 10 seconds test version) and resetting cache. The most recent post to the Group feed is still not showing. I wonder if this is because it was posted by someone other than myself or the Page I admin? SHouldn’t all posts appear?

    Cheers,
    Kate

    Could you provide a link to the group and example link on your site?

    Damon

    Yep, the group is https://facebook.com/groups/myfatherswake,
    The feed is in the sidebar at Myfatherswake.com

    @katekavs Awesome thanks for the links. If you are talking about the very top post on your fb group… that is a Pinned Post and fb api unfortunately does not have a method at this time for us to replicate that. If that is not the post you are talking about can you please point me to the post specifically that you are expecting to see that is not showing up in our feed?

    Hi, it’s not the pinned post I mean, but the one from Clare Leftfield Mc Williams, posted yesterday at 14:26

    @katekavs

    Thanks for the details again ?? Can you please email us at support @ slickremix.com and include the shortcode you are using and so we don’t keep bothering graemeallan either.

    I’m going to guess the issue is because of a privacy setting that user may have. If they do not allow publicly to share all photos, posts etc then those people who post won’t be seen, this is a facebook api privacy thing.
