Feed Them Social Twitter Not Seeing Tokens

    The Feed Them Social ap on my site works fine on my iphone, but on my desktop it says, “No Access Tokens have been set. Please retrieve Twitter API tokens on the Twitter Options page of Feed Them Social.”

    When I go to the settings, it has a big green banner stating that tokens are received and set and working.

  • Exactly the same here. If I clear cache then things work, but only until the next page load, then the message quoted above, again.

    Same here! When I first set up the plug-in for Twitter, it worked fine on the desktop; but I had to adjust a couple of parameters, and by doing so I had to go back in and reset the tokens. It says the tokens are working properly, and they do on a smartphone but not on a desk- or laptop.

    Ok, sad to say “me too”. Exactly the same issue as @matc describes.

    We appear to be hitting API rate limits and that is why the feed keeps going down. We are going to try and do some more fine tuning to adjust the message that shows as well. Thanks for letting us know the troubles you all are experiencing. Hopefully we’ll be able to resolve this problem. Keep you posted.

    Thanks for the update – really appreciated.

    I am having the same issues. It was working and then suddenly no token found but has the green banner. I had updated my twitter app with new codes and still nothing. It will work when I first put in the generated code then gone. Is there any fix?

    I am having the same issues as well. Will not show on desktop or smartphone when viewed in Chrome. I have changed my API’s and it works fine for a little while but as soon as you navigate away the feed is gone.

    We have been able to replicate this problem and are working on a fix. We should have a new fixed version pushed at some point today. Thanks for everyone’s patience.

    Sorry for the troubles and inconvenience this may have caused. We fixed the issues we you were experiencing also made improvements to the Twitter Options Page with version 2.7.2 which we just pushed. Please be sure to update the plugin.
