First off, this is a great plugin and I appreciate all the hard work that you have put into making it work. That said, I am having an annoying problem with it that I just cannot figure out.

I have 13 feeds and 7 plugin categories. Each feed is assigned to one of the 7 plugin categories. I want to use the Feed to Post functionality but when I try to assign a second plugin category to a post category by clicking the link “Add another plugin to blog post category association” I get a pop-up dialogue with the message, “You need to add another plugin category before you can associate it with a blog post category.”

I have looked through the support posts here and searched the net with no success. I had it working in another development installation of the site but that was lost with a hard drive crash and I have no way to restore it to see what setting I might be missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

right now, you can only have as many plugin categories – blog category connections as there are plugin categories – so if you have set up 7 plugin categories, that is the limit. Now, you can have one plugin category assigned to as many blog categories as you want. Does that help?

Not really. I can link only one (or all) plugin categories to one post category. I cannot even create a second association. I get the error message I noted in my first post.

I guess that I am doing something wrong but no matter what I modify elsewhere I cannot seem to add another relationship between a plugin category and a post category.

Darrell you may get a better result posting your own support topic.

As you’ve pointed out this one is resolved a month ago and those often do not get another look.

It is a browser configuration issue. I do not have efficient admin rights on the computer in question to know the fix, but when I use another browser on a different machine I am good to go.

Thank you OCS Foundation. Your solution was correct in my case too.
I was using IE10 and IE11 when the error message appears.
I have just successfully used Firefox to add an additional plugin category.
I will put in some time to try and find the setting in IE that was preventing the addition of more plugin category associations.

Thank you very much for posting the solution – I was having the same problem in IE11, but it worked fine in Chrome.
