    Hello,

I updated the feed attribute manually, (adding google category), but the feed did not generate the feed with the new attribute, so i had to make a new feed and add it to Google Merchant Center, but is not the feed supposed to be updated when make changes manually?

Secondly, will the feed be updated automatically when I make change to product database or do i need to create and add new feed to Google Shopping?

    Thanks!

    Hi @ugocel

Please, find answers respective to your questions below –
    1st issue:
So far, we can understand that you have added a new attribute to the feed configuration, but the feed doesn’t contain the output of the new attribute. So, the possible reason could be caching. Please ensure you have excluded the plugin directory from the caching plugin if you are using any. In this documentation, we have explained how to exclude the plugin directory from different caching plugins.
Your server caching may also be the reason you are not being able to get the updates on the feed. Once the feed directory is removed from any caching tool, you should get updates on the feed.

    2nd Issue:
The feed will update automatically on each interval if you enable the auto-update option. To know more about auto-update intervals, Please, follow this documentation.

You may also find the below documentation useful in case the auto-update is not working on your site –

    Hi,

In fact I’m not using CDN on WP rocket, do i need to add “/wp-content/uploads/woo-feed(.*)” in the specific section anyway? Or do i any other adjustments in WP Rocket?

For the second issue I’ll conform to the documentation as per your suggestion.

Furthermore, an other issue come up:
When i created a FB feed, I added some other attributes like “FB inventory”, “Google “Category” in addition to default ones. When I looked into the feed through “edit” button, some of the attributes, even the default ones like “Sale Price” were gone.
What causes that issue and how to resolve that?

    Thank you!

    Hi @ugocel

Or do i any other adjustments in WP Rocket? – Yes, you have to exclude the directory anyway and here you can find the instructions on how to exclude the feed directory from WP-rocket.

    “Sale Price” were gone.
This is quite unusual. Please, exclude the plugin directory from the caching plugin and try again. It should solve this issue as well. If not, reach us from here.

    Hello,

I excluded the CTX Feed from caching.

Regarding the second issue, would the PHP max execution time be in cause? I have 300 indeed.

    Thank you!

    Hi @ugocel

The sale price issue is not related to PHP max execution time. It’s mostly related to caching. However, if you have excluded the plugin directory from all caching tools, but still getting the issue, then I would request you to reach us from here as we will have to inspect the issue more deeply.
