Feed will no longer update

In addition to the above problem, I just realized that the links are also no longer working. The code for a link is being created as text rather than code.

The HTML issue is something that has recently come up and will be patched soon — thanks for the report!

I’ve had several people tell me they’ve had issues with their feeds updating (not just Facebook, also with their Twitter feeds and other services.)

One user believes to have identified the issue as being related to WordPress 4.3, and has had success by rolling back to WordPress 4.2.4. This is something you could try, if feasible (maybe in a test environment) to see if that fixes the issue for you.

In the meantime, we are looking into what could be causing that issue and hope to have it patched!

Thanks for letting me know so quickly, I appreciate it ?? It’s a great plugin and I tried a number of them before choosing this one – so I was really hoping it wouldn’t quit working on me. Between all of the WP updates and Facebook constantly making changes it’s got to be tough to stay on top of it.

Can you try generating a new App ID and Secret Key, and see if that makes any difference?

I’ve been working with a few people who are having the same sort of issue, and for these individuals the issue seems to be with their App ID and Secret Keys. In those cases, simply swapping the keys out with a new pair has resolved things.

I generated a new App ID and Secret Key last week and then updated the plugin today. The broken formatting has been fixed but the images still do not show. I’ve tried using all of the different settings relating to images, tried turning images off and then on again, but they still won’t show. I used the shortcode on a test page here:

It is also in the footer and you can see that there are no images in either.

A new FB post was made over the weekend and it does not show in the IK plugin. The last FB post that shows is the last one made when I generated the new App ID and Secret Key. So it’s still not updating or showing the images.
