• Hi

I am currently testing out various Security plugins for a tutorial I am writing. I focus a lot of the user interface. It would look at lot better if the WP-admin BPS Setup Wizard Notification was removed.

There is already a Setup Wizard listed under the title of the plugin in the installed plugin screen.

It would be helpful to add a Dashboard screen for the plugin something along the lines of how All In One WP Security has a Dashboard screen which gives a nice over view.

I am seeing a WP Rocket notification behind the AIT Pro BPS banners.
These banners seem a bit wrongly placed.

If you want additional user interface feedback let me know. Currently it feels a bit messy and could be cleaned up. Btw do also think about beginner web admins who also work on relating to various options.

Yep, I need to work on the gimmicky stuff at some point. Thanks for the feedback.

Do you happen to have a Github repo or something like it to where I can easier give feedback containing screenshots?

I don’t use GitHub and do all dev stuff on my local servers. You can post links to images in my forum > https://forum.ait-pro.com/activity/.

Or you can post links to images in this thread, but the WP Forum Guidelines state this >

The link is to a reputable image-sharing service for screenshots.

    Hi

Removing the top notification will help.
Using a more WordPress oriented UI/UX will also help. Look closer at WooCommerce and especially the Give donation plugin which has a very nice UI/UX setup.
Renaming BPS Security top level screen names. Think of it like regular heading titles. Making each title easier to understand.
    htaccess File Options = htaccess,
    MScan = Scan,
    JTC-Lite = ?,
Idle Session Logout Cookie Expiration = Sessions,
    AlertsILogsIEmail Options = Alerts,
    UIlUX Options = Display Options,

Finding ways to simplify each screen. Based on standard WordPress UI.
More space/air between each option. Giving room to breath.

I can always beta test and give feedback when/if you want to make bigger adjustments to your plugin.
