    Hallo thanks for this plugin!

    I have some feedback regarding the functionality:

    The search is not really user friendly! The problem i have is the user is still be able to hit the search button or either is just able to hit the enter key to do a manual/fixed search. The search phrase you did manual doesn’t clear when you backspace the search input even with the live search is checked.

    I would suggest you not to give the user the option to switch but either just a good experience only having the option to do a live search.

    After a search the sortable columns seems also not sortable anymore!

    Thank you for the feedback.

    I’m working on a new version (simplify and fix bugs) and will add your input to that.

    Can you tell me what OS and Browser that behavior happened ?
    Also, about the sort bug, it was on regular posts or some custom content?

    1) I used the latest chrome (69) on windows.
    2) I this case the sorting issue was on a custom post type that i created! Will test this also in normal posts. I thought its just a native WP thing so it shouldn’t matter if its a normal post or custom post type but maybe i’m wrong.

    Looking forward to next releases and good luck with the plugin! :thumbsup:

    Hi,

    Just released version 2.0

    Custom Posts are not supported yet, I mean they are but not the custom columns so if you use admin live search on a custom post the results won’t have the custom columns.

    Anyway I’ll keep working on this so that future updates maybe support custom post types.

    Feel free to upgrade and give feedback.

    I’m still working on a way to add custom types do live search, it’s not simple because each custom type adds it’s own code to show custom columns and it’s values.

    Anyway, thank you for the “upgrade” on the review.

    Just coming back to the sorting columns and i guess it must be a bug in general.

    Tested it in the following tables table
    – custom post type (created by me)
    – WordPress pages
    – WordPress posts

    When clicking the sort(table head(column date)) that should show the content in a different order triggers the search and doesn’t reorder the content in the tables.

    Please ignore my mouse its bad refenrence the recorder doesn’t play nice with a high resolution laptop-screen.
