Feedback (img captions, par spacing)
-
Hi, just a little feedback:
1. Image captions would be infinitely more useful if they would automatically link to the same URL the image is linked to, at least when it’s a custom URL, but they don’t and i don’t think the Pro version does that either.
Not everybody would want this so you can fix that with a simple toggle.
As is i have to add a title/text widget under it and add the link to that as well, but then when you hover over the image the text under it does not change to it’s hover color.2. Would also be nice if we could link whole columns or even rows to a custom URL.
And if we could have hover effects over the whole column/row, at the very least make it a Pro feature.
I can do all that with custom code but of course that is not a free feature either.3. Not sure about others but for me Paragraph spacing should be set to 0 by default, when it’s not i just suffer and have to use negative margins or wrap my text in div tags or use titles instead of text editors, it was a real pain until i found where to permanently fix that, now i just gotta do that for every website i work on.
If you use separate text editor widgets for each paragraph then you have the default widget padding to replace the paragraph spacing, or if you are using just 1 widget for several paragraphs you can just press enter to add a space.
Cuz to be honest paragraph spacing is kinda broken anyway, it doesn’t work if you use the text mode of the text editor, it only works in Visual mode and even then it can disappear sometimes.
The default paragraph spacing also messes with the ‘title’ spacing of bullet lists, by default it’s a little too close, you hit enter to add space and then the default paragraph spacing gets added to it, making the resulting space way to large.
It’s never once helped me and never once not gotten in the way.And speaking of bullet lists, it seems they have their own kind of paragraph spacing, have not found where to get rid of that yet.
Could we have image overlays ? like background overlays but in the foreground not the background.
I really could have used it on this website i re-made https://redo.jahdielhomecare.com/.
