Feeds being minified even when checked not too

  • Hi,

    I have the latest version of W3 and WordPress.

    My feeds are set to cache, but in minify settings I have the box checked NOT to minify feeds, yet they are still being minified and they are having comments stripped.

    I have a particular need for the feeds not to be minified and coment stripped as another plugin relies on the <link> comments in order to parse the link URLS.

    Any idea here?

    I have no other plugin that controls the feeds, only the WordPress generated ones.

    link

    to ignored comment stems and the feed still has the <link> comment stripped

    Ah, I have discovered that if I set page cache to Disk: Basic, rather than Advanced it stops the issue…

    Why might this be?

    It seems that disk: Advanced is ignoring the settings not to minify and also to not strip specified comments.

    Any chance we can get this fixed as disk advanced is seriously fater than disk basic and I’m loathed to swap to basic and loose performance to sort out a minor problem elswhere.

    I actually think this is a proper bug.

    Should I write to the home domain of the developer?
