    Hi,

I actually deleted this plugin, installed and activated it again. There are 30 podcasts but only 1 of the earlier ones is showing up both on the feed page and also on the widgets. New podcasts are also not showing up.

I read the forum and tried nearly everything and nothing seems to work:
    1. Downgrade version
    2. Republish or reload audio/podcast
    3. Reset permalinks
    4. Deactivate and activate again.

    Help please.

Hi there, thanks for using Seriously Simple Podcasting, and sorry that you’re running into trouble with this.

    A few questions:

    – What types of posts (or podcast CPT) are you including in the feed? I see the one active episode in the feed is a /podcast/ type, are the rest?
    – How many posts are set to be included in your feed in Settings->Readings ? 30 or more would be ideal for you.
    – Looking at the source of your feed it looks like something is duplicating the one post. What other plugins are you running that might contribute to this? view-source:https://bookroom2016.wpengine.com/feed/podcast I’m not sure if that’s contributing to the issue, but would confound any podcast reader.

Let me know, and we’ll see how we can resolve things from there.

Hi, thank you so much for helping:

    1. Most of the podcast come from soundcloud. A screenshot of our source code is below.
    2. Reading > Settings was set at 10, but increasing it to 30 didn’t make a difference. Even new posts added didn’t appear.
    3. I’m not sure of any plugin conflicts, I have disabled some plugins that are suspected to affect it but none was the culprit. In addition, some of the plugins were on the original website, which worked there.

We recently migrated the website, is it a database issue? If so, which database tables should I copy and replace?

Not sure if it’s just a mistake on this one post, but the media file URL has to be in the Podcast Episode Details -> Podcast File area. Even if you’re using Soundcloud to host you’d need to paste that .mp3 file URL into that area for it to be registered as a podcast episode. Otherwise it would be considered to be just a normal post.

Let me know if that does it for you.

    Hi Craig,

Even if it is considered a normal post, only 1 post out of 30 is showing up under the post archices. For e.g.:
    https://bookroom2016.wpengine.com/podcast/
    vs
    https://truthbookroom.com.sg/podcast/ (original source)

In both pages, they have the exact same source codes because we copied one site to the other. Very odd.

    Thanks,
    John

It’s okay, I’ll add the mp3 in the Podcast File area. I think it is probably the new plugin version. Thanks.
