Feeds not showing for specific hashtag

It looks like the hashtags that are not showing any tweets haven’t had a tweet within the last 7 days: https://snipboard.io/i31KVU.jpg. Our plugin can only retrieve posts made within the last 7 days for hashtag feeds. This is due to a restriction with Twitter’s API (which we use to get the tweets).

Our plugin does have a feature to permanently save these tweets, however, so that once a tweet is retrieved, the 7 day limit no longer applies.

Does that make sense?

Does this means that once the tweet is retrieved it can show forever in the website irrespective of the 7 day that you have mentioned above. Kindly advice how to do this?

Yes you are correct. The new tweets are added to a cache rather than replacing the cache.

This should be the way the plugin works by default. Otherwise you can add this to your hashtag feed shortcode to be sure:

persistentcache=true
