First of all, Bas, thank you very much for an AWESOME plugin/s!

I’m a bit stuck however. I would like to have all feeds open in a new window, so I’ve added a link filter, checked the box that says open in new window, saved yet links still see the user leaving my site as links open in same window. Also played around with the Filter processing settings. Anything I could have missed?

Also added an image filter, hoping that the rss feed will also pull the set images from the relavant posts, yet still only text. The site in mention can be seen at: https://wp.globecreative.com/georgecap/

In the site you linked I see now images in the feed? If you can post a link to the feed maybe I can see what’s going wrong ( or not ).

I’m not sure what you mean by to have all feeds open by a new window, but the link filter should simple set a target=_blank on any correct anchor tag. Again, if you post the feed then I might see if there is something not working.

Please do mind I hardly have any time these days so it might be a while before I can look into any issue ( I’m hoping around christmas this year or so ).

Thanks for getting back to me Bas

I totally understand If it takes a while to get any future replies, and I appreciate any feedback I can get. For now, lets ignore the missing images issue I mentioned before.

Regarding the “target = _blank” handle, for some reason this doesn’t seem to be working in my case. The feed can be seen here: https://feeds.feedburner.com/ventures-africa/kCzk

If I go to https://wp.globecreative.com/georgecap/, to the bottom where it reads “Latest from Ventures Africa”…This is the feed, I want it to open in a new window when I click on a feed/post. Ive set the Link filter as described above but still opens in same window.

I see. The thing is that the link filter is not meant for links of the post itself, but any -content- that has links in it. Since FWP inserts normal WordPress posts you can easily set the target blank on the link title by using your theme / template.

Ah okay. Makes sence. Thank you for the swift reply.

Im not too glued up in php but I’ll have a look and research a bit more. I never know where I need to pop in the “target=_blank” to make the magic happen. But I thank you for all the help Bas. Once again, great plugin

    <a href="bla" target="_blank">Title</a>

No PHP involved ?? Good luck.
