I have a web site that displays several feeds using Feedzy. We recently moved the site to a new server. We have not modified the DNS settings yet, so the domain name is still pointing to the source site. The idea is to validate things are working properly before we make the final switch.

The Feedzy feeds are all working on the source site; but the new/copied site just displays “Feed has no items.”

My thought is this is due our not changing the domain for the site. To explain. In WP General Settings for the site, the original site domain name still displays for “WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address URL”. I suspect this is the problem – but wanted to ask – does Feedzy use these values in the request to the feed to get data back? While a guess, my thought is it does, so the new/copied site makes the correct feed call (I tested the feed is valid in Troubleshooting tools), but the data is going back to the source site as the DNS settings still point there.

Or could it be something else?

@tpisolutions we do not use those values and neither do we “call back” your site so this is likely something else.

Please mention the following so that we can understand the scenario better:

    – the source url
    – the new site url
    – the exact shortcode that is working on the source site and not working on the new site
