fetch_feed and content formatting

  • I wrote a plugin that calls fetch_feed and then writes the retrieved data out according to a template. The problem I am having is that when I retrieve data from amazon I am seeing ALL of the formatting removed.

    It seems like I get less data from Amazon when WordPress reads the feed rather than when Chrome or Firefox reads the feed.

    Does WordPress’ fetch_feed and related functions remove formatting from the feed descriptions?
